Bebo.com

We have recently done a feature on Bebo.com, and Norfolk county council emailed us, saying how dangerous it is for people of our age, because your details aren’t safe on it, because anyone can access it. It is also being used for pornography, cyber bullying and other unsuitable uses. We also publicised these dangers in the EDP, on Anglia TV, on Look East and on Radio Norfolk, because we believe that it was a serious issue which people needed to hear about. We also sent over 1000 letters home to students, to warn them of the dangers of Bebo.com and afterwards, we noticed that a huge amount of pupils had closed their accounts on Bebo.com, which is a great result.
